Voyis Imaging's Discovery and Discovery Stereo photogrammetry camera systems

Voyis photogrammetry Camera integration

Voyis is rapidly becoming the leading name for photogrammetry. MarineNav can integrate the Discovery and Discover Stereo 4k camera systems as part of your ROV build. High definition full shutter cameras coupled with Nova LED lights allow you to capture crisp, detailed imagery. Adding the Discovery Stereo camera enables you to create 3D photogrammetric models of your assets with the option of recording data at full resolution with a live lower quality feed. Operate the Voyis Stereo with a secondary tether, or upgrade to a fibre optic system for true gigabit transfer speeds and the ability to create 3D models and mapping of your assets/targets on the fly.

Voyis Imaging Inc.

Voyis camera systems are available as an optional upgrade for the Oceanus Pro Classic, P8 Pro and Ultimate ROV systems. Contact MarineNav to discuss ROV compatibility and which camera system is suited for your need.

MarineNav's ROV Hand Controller (v3.0)

Surround-view external cameras

This optional ROV enhancement allows users to add up to eight additional cameras fitted to the ROV body. Attach positionable cameras to the sides and rear of your ROV, to provide a greater situational awareness (a 360° view around your ROV) and the ability to view wider areas simultaneously. A live video feed captured by the cameras is displayed in a grid or matrix format, providing views around the ROV to aid in avoiding obstacles to the sides of the ROV or enhance your visual inspection of assets

Available as an optional upgrade for the Oceanus Pro Classic, P8 Pro and Ultimate ROV systems.

MarineNav's Rotating manipulator with cutting head attachment

Rotating manipulator cutting tool head

Constructed of carbon fibre-filled nylon and durable marine-grade acetal, the cutting tool head attachment is designed to accommodate a variety of 3" diameter blades allowing users to cut through a variety of materials including rope of up to 2" diameter. The serrated mandible firmly holds material in place and the closing action of the cutting blade controls the depth of cut. A grooved channel in the mandible ensures cutting blade will not damage the cutting tool, and a protective cutting blade shield protects the ROV from flying debris.

All products are designed, manufactured, and assembled at our facility on PEI, Canada.

MarineNav's ROV Hand Controller (v3.0)

Oceanus hANDheld CONTROLLER (V3.0)

The Oceanus v3.0 joystick/hand-held controller has been specifically designed for use with MarineNav’s ROV systems outfitted with a rotating manipulator attachment. The v3.0 hand-held controller features the same three-axis hall-effect joystick found in our other hand controllers and an expanded ROV command button configuration that provides pilots access to more ROV functions. An adjacent thumbwheel on the primary control panel enables pilots access to the ROV depth control without the need to reposition their hands.

An Oceanus joystick/hand-held controller (v3.0) is included with the Oceanus Mini, Pro and P8 Pro ROV systems and is available as an optional system upgrade for the Oceanus Mini-Lite ROV system.

We design, manufacture and assemble all products at our facility in PEI, Canada.

FIBRE OPTIC  communications & TETHER

Optional upgrade available for the Oceanus Pro Classic, P8 Pro, and Ultimate ROV systems

Upgrade by adding fibre optic communications to your Oceanus Pro Classic, P8 Pro or Ultimate ROV system to utilise our fibre optic tether for gigabyte Ethernet transfer speeds. Fibre optic tether is ideal when using ROV accessories that generate large amounts of data. You can use over 400m of fibre optic tether without an optional battery supply to the ROV. Battery packs are a requirement when operating on tether lengths of 500m to 4km. Standard fibre optic tether measures 11mm in diameter and carries data over fibre optic and power over copper. Slim fibre optic tether measures less than 6mm in diameter and transfers data only. An optional ROV battery pack is required when using slim tether. Contact MarineNav for more information >

Neutrally buoyant rOV Tether

MarineNav ROV systems are rated to a maximum standard depth, but tether segments can be purchased at greater lengths. Single cable segments are available to a maximum size of 500 meters. The maximum length when joining two cable segments together is 450 meters. The maximum length when joining three cable segments together is 400 meters.

Tether deployment Systems

MarineNav produces Tether Deployment Systems capable of storing up to 600m of ROV tether. All Tether Deployment Systems (TDS) products provide controlled deployment and retrieval of ROV tether minimizing the risk of entanglements or damage. TDS products are easily transported, the larger 600m self-contained TDS case design features built-in wheels.

Miscellaneous rov accessories

Protect your ROV investment with these essential accessories.
HC2 Hull Crawler allows ROV to glide effortless against a vessel hull eliminating excessive ROV movement providing controlled visual inspections.
Hull Crawlers

Mounting to the float block, MarineNav’s Hull Crawler positions the ROV against a vessel’s hull or other smooth surfaces to create a secure connection allowing for improved ease of inspection. This device increases the pilots’ ability to maintain position and safely navigate a vessel’s hull.

Installation of thruster guards minimizes potential damage as the guards shield the thrusters from large pieces of debris being drawn in to the rotating blades as the ROV is in motion.
Thruster Guards

Designed by MarineNav and manufactured on-site, the Oceanus thruster guard minimizes potential damage when foreign debris becomes entangled in the ROV thruster propellers. The thruster guard is constructed from marine-grade materials and is designed to fit over the thruster assembly without affecting propeller motion and is locked in place by four threaded bolts and fasteners. Installation is simple, requiring a minimum of tools and time.

Metal thickness gauge

Measure metal thickness even through coatings with ultrasonic metal thickness gauges. The probe does not need to touch the surface under test, as the metal thickness gauge captures reading measurements through 5 mm (0.2 inches) of water. Metal thickness probe orientation does not influence gauge readings. Contact MarineNav for more Information >
